Bridging the Void, performance

Vane are pleased to be hosting a performance of ‘Bridging the Void’, on Tuesday 2 February, 7-9:30pm.
‘Bridging The Void’ is a new dance/film production performed by the fast rising UK dance company Experiential, devised and choreographed by the company’s artistic director and resident filmmaker Rachel Johnson.
Designed to simultaneously intrigue, mesmerise and entertain, ‘Bridging the Void’ features a dramatic movement vocabulary performed by three dancers – Eleanor Palmer, Gabi Serani and Clélia Vuille, some exquisite footage of sunrise shot by filmmaker Jonathan Binks and a haunting, original score composed by James Welland.
‘Bridging The Void’ is a perfect collaboration between choreographer, dancers, filmmaker and composer and is destined to become an audience favourite.
“Experiential is a mixed-media company whose saturated fusion of dance, design, film and music aims to draw the audience deep into the performers’ world. This collaborative work is designed to evoke the changes of light and atmosphere that accompany the transition from night to dawn, with the audience free to move around the performance space, creating their own story around the richly shifting imagery.”
