Artists from the BxNU Master of Fine Art programme at Northumbria University, Newcastle upon Tyne, showcase their individual practices in a week-long group exhibition.

The exhibition title comes through the process of planning the exhibition as a cohort, encapsulating themes of construction, transient notions of identity, and social practice and custom. The individual bodies of research form a cohesive whole, one that manifests in the conversation created between the works. The notion of strange pursuit is both metaphorical and continuously pragmatic.

Working out of the studios located at BALTIC 39, Newcastle upon Tyne, the work in this exhibition reflects the multidisciplinary and the experimental open nature of the studio environment driven by individual investigative processes.
