Talk: Illuminating the Self: A Year On

Artists Susan Aldworth and Andrew Carnie, curator Lucy Jenkins and neuroscientist Dr Fiona LeBeau look back at the exhibition, ‘Illuminating the Self’, a year on.

Shown at Vane and Newcastle University’s Hatton Gallery, the exhibition was the culmination of over two years research into the Newcastle University-led CANDO project exploring living with epilepsy, as well as a new light-based treatment being developed by researchers.

The free event will take place on Zoom on Wednesday 24 February 2021 at 7:45pm and will feature the screening of a new documentary about the exhibition by filmmaker Alan Fentiman.
